Ads allow creators to be supported while making large portions of the internet free to use. However, ad blockers exist, and YouTube is currently testing blocking users who have an ad blocker enabled.

According to multiple reports, the YouTube Studio app’s ‘Dark Mode’ stopped working in the latest update. Even though the ‘Dark Mode’ option is enabled in the phone settings, the app UI is always in ‘Light Mode’ in its current state.

Twitch

Twitch, the leading live streaming platform, has released a game-changing update that allows content creators to easily create and share short, vertical video clips across multiple platforms. Twitch streamers can now take advantage of the growing popularity of vertical video content on platforms such as YouTube and TikTok thanks to the new clip editor.

Tiktok

The update to the Terms of Service only affects one section, Dispute Resolutions, which explains in great detail how conflicts must be resolved informally. Under the new terms, you and TikTok both agree to make a good faith effort to settle the dispute amicably before taking legal action.

Twitter

Elon Musk has appointed NBCUniversal’s head of global advertising as Twitter’s new CEO, though he will retain a senior role at the social media platform.

Twitter has introduced a new feature that allows users to respond to a direct message in a conversation with almost any emoji. Previously, you could only respond to the most recent DM with a limited set of emojis.

Twitter has finally released its first version of encrypted direct messages (DMs), but there are some restrictions. This feature is currently only available to verified users (such as Blue subscribers) or accounts linked to verified organizations. Furthermore, the encryption feature does not work with group messages, and Twitter does not provide protection against man-in-the-middle attacks.
